Iowa=tough game

Our playbooks are quite similar. Kind of funny!! My favorite plays are when our QB dumps off 5 yard pass routes when it's 3rd and 9. OR we'll run it up the gut when its 3rd and 7. It's really amusing!

I'm fine with running most of the plays we do but our OC picks the absolute worst time to run them lol

It's like he picks 3 plays at the beginning of the season and decides they will be 99% of our offense.

Last yr it was inside zone, PA Zone Read with a bunch of drag routes, and quick screens

Now it's Jet Sweep, PA Inverted Veer, and Swing Screens lol


For example, against Mizzou we were in FG range and we ran a double or triple reverse that lost 8-10 yds then had to punt

Hey we put in the jet sweep this year as well.. However, it started out well and now...well everytime they see #10 they'll know its a jet sweep. When #22 is in it'll be a jailbreak screen. Watch for it and you'll laugh!

I would guess that Iowa will focus on stopping Dobbs mobility and plug up the middle. They will try to make Dobbs beat them with his arm.

Speed (lack thereof) will kill you...we know personally--see 2013 season.
