Hope so. Tennessee scored 7 on Missouri and 10 on Georgia. Iowa's defense is really good.

I was at the 2015 Hawk Slayer Bowl. Iowa looked like they were running in slow motion; I expect much of the same in this game.

Iowa has a good defense. Thankfully offense is woeful. Coach Ferentz had to fire his own son from OC position as his contract had a clause about points per game. It wasn't met so c'ya son. So we should come out on top. A question is will anybody declare not playing in bowl game for reasons other than being injured and unavailable.

It’s one thing to play Iowa in the drudgery and malaise of week 9 or in week 13 after a slog of a season when you’re banged up and only have a week to prepare. It’s another thing to play them on New Years after a month of rest. I was sitting there watching the Big 10 title saying, “Man, I would love to play Iowa.” Well, be careful what you wish for, I guess…but Iowa just doesn’t scare me. Maybe I’ll be eating my words, but I think UT wins by double digits. I think we’re bigger, faster and stronger than Iowa. That’s all there is to it. The key will just be discipline. Iowa is a solid, disciplined football team who won’t make a lot of mistakes, but they won’t make a lot of plays either.
