From reading between the lines of this article (http://www.thedailytimes.com/article/20091211/SPORTS/312119993) it seems apparant that all these investigations are doing is bringing this class closer together. And if this is true, that a rival school turned in TH (I'm assuming the Head Gaspumper), then it's truly pathetic how low they have to stoop to negatively recruit against a team that is currently 7-5, and previously coming off a 5-7 season, and I think our kids are responding to it positively for us. Go ahead, guys, keep it up. Keep telling kids that Monte is retiring, keep badmouthing Lane, keep trying to raid the coaching staff, and keep squeling to the NCAA that 3 college girls had the nerve to drive 200 miles on a Friday night and hold up some signs. Really, Spurrier? This is what you have stooped to? That's all you got? Enjoy your top 35 class. Maybe next year you'll devise a way to effectively block a 4 man rush.

Yeah-I don't know who did it-only assuming Steve "Illegal Formation" Spurrier because it involved Lattimore and was in SC. Nevertheless-whoever turned them in is not getting what they wanted. The negative recruiting by some of these coaches is truly pathetic. I know Saban doesn't do it, maybe not Richt or Bobby Johnson, but I imagine it's fair game for everyone else and all it does is show how fearful they are of TN to recruits.

IDK... Seems like the only coaches that have any real evidence of having snitched are Dan Brooks and Dabo Swiney.... I do think this will galvanize the recruiting class though.

He has more pressing issues to worry about, like not dropping the soap. Nobody made him hold someone at gunpoint, his decision. I don't know what he'd stand to gain by helping with this smear campaign.

well by reading this comment I am going to guess the cow is wearing #7 which would have been Nuke.

If and when we do find out the who the responsible parties are, we must certainly need to make 50,000 COME TO TENNESSEE signs for next year's game.

The 2010 class is our championship class.

Not even Urban calling in all his chips can change that, but it's fun to see him continue with so many acts of desperation. Never in the history of sports has a coach so accomplished demonstrated such cowardice.

Just focus on learning more about football Urban, so you can try to minimize the damage Kiffin is going to do to you there. Leave the co-eds out of it.

I love how everyone keeps bringing up CUM. I keep hearing Clemson, plus it makes more since because its in their back yard. I'm really thinking Dan Brooks for Clemson. He's upset about being let go.

I'm taking the #7 to stand for our 7th national title coming within the next two to three years.

Tenn has won 2 National Titles in 100+ years. Only National Titles recognized by reputable football people are:
ESPN, Coaches, AP, UPI, BCS.

1951 Tenn won in the old segregated era than got thumped in the bowl game. In 1998 they where the only concensus undefeated untied National Champion in Tenn history. Add the scrutiny and spotlight vs. the 20K crowds, no TV and VERY limited radio of the 1950's and you can see which was more impressive.
