UNLV got the worst underseeding of any team. Also, I love how the committee tries to cover themselves. They know the inclusion of ODU and Arkansas is going to cause a firestorm, so they overseed USC and Butler in the hopes one or both of their questionable calls will win, thus vindicating them. Butler being seeded two lines higher than UNLV is an absolute disgrace.

UNLV got rewarded with playing a hot Georgia Tech team in the first round.. A little surprised at Butler being a 5 as well..

Ya know, it's really really weird seeing a tournament bracket without UConn. Oh how the mighty fell this season.

UNLV-Wins at Nevada, at Texas Tech, and 2 over BYu. For all of the RPI worshippers out there, the Rebels are #10. Now, someone tell me anything Butler has done since the beginning of January, other than lose to people like Wright State. Equating the Horizon League with the MWC is like comparing a Hyundai to a BMW. Butler deserved nothing better than a 7.

It'll be fun to see who escapes the mid-major match up with Butler and Old Dominion.. I wouldn't put it past the committee in setting that one up on purpose.

Looks like those early-season Butler wins paid off big dividends. I also don't see how ODU and Arkansas get in, but Syracuse and, yes, Air Force (baiting Hat here) get left out.

Air Force got left out for a simple reason. Anyone who has seen them play in the last month and a half realizes they're terrible. There are 5 or 6 teams who have better arguments than the Falcons.

i agree comepletely. they had a nice run at the beginning of the season against a dreadfully bad schedule, then lost to all the good teams they played. the falcons will lose in the first round of the NIT.
