Don't the "Intimate Dating" ads that keep popping up kind of violate the "family board" atmosphere? Not being an uptight here, just wanted to point them out.

I would hazard a guess,But not speak for freak and say that he doesn't have control over those adds.Google seems to be the sponsor,at least on my browser.Not that I find them offensive.Well no more than the Penn State Nittany Lions adds all over the place.

All in all it seems to be a fair trade off.Adds keep this site free.

No issues. Freak is putting in for a piece of the stimulus package. Each VN member will get a free house and pecan roll. Apply now, before it's to late.

I think the ads are different on everyone's computers depending on what you search during your free time.... soooo.... ummm....... whatcha lookin at? My ads are of kid crap and shoe stores, hahaha.

I was always under the impression that the ads had something to do with what was being discussed. I always notice a thread about a certain band has ads advertising ringtones for that band, etc.

My ads are always beer, women and get rich quick schemes. I saw a couple pecan roll ads yesterday too.

Actually I am pretty sure it is designed to post ads that are relevant to the content of the page/thread. When I go through the "homos, baby killer's and former alcoholic gambling player/managers" thread in the politics forum, it brings up an ad for a poll about gay marriage. More than one poster commented on the gay dating ads that popped up in some thread in which some of our more enlightened posters were bitching about gay superheroes on Showtime.

I think I saw that on Showtime. Is that the one where the Masked Poof put the bad guy in a step over penis hold?
