Syracuse did a great job of exploiting the interior defensive line. I'm afraid this is going to rear its ugly head against really good competition. I'm trying to figure out why Tennessee is so thin there and appear to be way undersized. If you cannot win the interior line of scrimmage you have absolutely no chance in the SEC.

That would be an excuse if we had just hit the portal for a bunch of guys in our front 6. These are guys that have played for the same staff their entire college career though. Not sure if it was laziness or lack of S&C but they have to lock on QUICKLY. Because Georgia comes to town in 2 weeks and their rushing attack is going to be lethal this year

We had injuries and guys out. Looked bad but once we have Jaxson moi in for more than 3 plays and Hobbs I’ll make an honest judgement. That Syracuse rb is no joke either he’s a very tough runner.

Hobbs is a loss being a 5star... Not sure his injury or when he may be back from his injury in fall camp... We are solid at DT but a few injuries can hamper any team at that position

Syracuse average 2.3 yards per carry. Just sayin

In defense of OP there was something weird about how they rotated in so many DT’s. Like they were holding open auditions for playing time. Some (or maybe all) of the freshman they played don’t seem to be ready

Or vanilla scheming. I tend to lean that way….

Anyone else worry about how they passed their way right down the field at the end?

Should that be concerning or was that against our subs?

We’re expecting too much. This is a good football team. Will they progress throughout the year? We will see. TN could make a run or they could stumble. My best AP analysis.
We're expecting too much because the defensive tackles look vastly undersized? A few of them look like they're about 250 lbs
