A buddy of mine was able to go to the coaching clinic. He was able to talk with Chaney and got to hang out with Monte a lot. This is what he says" Chaney spilled the beans" says that " Creer had no heart, Morley was a mess, and if you combined all three of our QB's you still wouldnt have a decent one"

Ouch!

Hrm? Creer DIDNT have heart, that's why he's gone. Morely WAS a mess. Our QB are awful, and I think that he is right when he said put all 3 together, and you still only have a decent QB. There is nothing closer to the truth than that. Our QB situation sucks!

He has pictures, if you also don't believe he was there.

I knew the QB situation wasn't great, but I had no idea it was this bad.

Nothing in his quote is breaking news. Just gives us confirmation that we shouldn't expect anything out of the QB's this year. Hope the running game, and Bryce eat it up.

i say just keep it simple for Nick, let him throw a bomb a few times a game, and maybe a slant here and there.

Even if you made this stuff up, the info about Creer, Morely and qb's is still true.

I can believe he was there but I have a hard time believing a coach would say that about current players to some random guy.

I could be wrong but that's my first impression after reading

While this isn't that far off, I seriously doubt Chaney or Monte would speak so openly, and negative, about players...

No argument from me there, I would agree. If it wasn't true, and Chaney didn't say those things....it's still true = )

I can believe that the coaches will talk a little different one on one than they will in front of the media.

I was at the 7 on 7 camp they have a couple of years ago. Fulmer came to where the officials were while we was on lunch break. I sat and talked pretty frankly for an hour or so to us. There was no media there and everything was "off the record".

A 5' 11" QB who's knee is a wreck? No.

No sense whatsoever in bringing in a QB that is not going to play QB in college. He was not going to get a good opportunity to play QB here with Kiffin at the helm

Not saying that this is not true...still I don't believe this was discussed with a group of coaches or a single coach at a coaching clinic. Coaches in clinics where I have gone do not make comments like this to people they do not know.

As a matter of fact, I had beers with VT coaches after a coaching clinic and still information such as this was not discussed with outsiders.
