Who would Kiffin start next year at QB? Stevens or Boyd?

Oh by the way I think that Kiffin was a big help in recruiting the best college football player we have ever seen in Reggie Bush.

I see him bringing in the big and fast guys we barely missed with CPF.

If Monte came I could see the best defensive guys coming here to "Develop and be ready for the NFL"

I agree I think Kiffin could be a great hire. But Gruden could also bring Monte with him too.

Tampa 2 is Designed for Eric berry...we run a version of it at our High School and we have a kid that is just as dominant on our high school level as EB....he doesn't intercept a lot, but Quarterbacks locate him first, and then throw away (that is how intimidating he is by now) and Our Safety makes the field a lot smaller in a system designed to stop points.

Wasn't it alleged that there were MAJOR recruiting improprieties at USC with regard to Reggie Bush? Seems we were still waiting for the other shoe to drop on that one.

If someone is already in the fold, that argues for a currently-unemployed coach. Kiffin fits the bill. No way a currently-employed coach would allow his agent to commit him before the season is over, unless it's a Tuberville or someone hanging by a thread in his present situation. This is especially the case for a coach who has his team headed toward a bowl birth.

If I were a Vol fan, I'd feel better about the situation if Mr. Hamilton said he'll deliver a coach after the regular season is over. Yes, I understand this would rankle many of the Vol faithful. I understand it could impact the current recruiting class. But it would hold out promise of landing a rainmaker. No rainmakers if the position is filled in the next couple of weeks.
