We have not done a great job of capitalizing on big games and moments in our history, its a topic that is constantly discussed on our boards. To be honest, I think most Ags are holding our breath hoping we can finally win a big game on a big stage. We tend to be a fanbase that is just waiting for the other shoe to drop, we call it battered Aggie syndrome.

We're right there with you on that. I for one have not felt confident for many years. I have been humbled by our drought. Here's to a good game, no injuries and a new rivalry.

3rd straight year Ags are 5-0. If they lose this one, talk radio will be interesting come Monday. A lot of my Aggie friends are being really quiet around me thus far. I think they are as nervous as we are!

We've been burned too many times, we're taking a wait and see approach. Tennessee has the ability to beat anyone in the nation, if we don't play great football Saturday then we'll walk out of Kyle Field feeling that we are in for another 4 loss season.

Bottom line...you have two pretty good teams about to go head-to-head. Neither side should be talking smack as either one of us will darned glad to have another one in the "W" column come this Saturday night.

I don't want to sound like a negative Nancy but I've got a bad feeling about this one.
I have the same worry because we have not learned have to play 4 quarters of Football. Going off in the second half may have work against good teams like UGA, Fla, and V Tech but my gut says that TAMU could be a great team similar to BAMA. If we don't play the entire game we will lose in College Station. JMO

The Vols have yet to play up to their potential in all four quarters of any game this season.

Here's hoping they start well and finish strong. I'm not sure the ole ticker can handle another October surprise. :)

I've been watching TAMU games this season and they look good enough to win the West. They are the only team imo that can beat Bama in that division.

They've started 5-0 each of the past 3 years. Lost the 6th both times.... Will this year be the same?

That's the key. If we play for 4 quarters we win. If we start slow I don't see us pulling another rally out. TAMU is to good

Loaded with Aggies where I work. We are all being polite because a) well hell is work. Gotta live here after the game. And b) they don't think they've played their best football or a complete game yet either.

That is where we've left it thus far. If one team plays a complete game and reaches their talent level they win. If BOTH teams do it we have no idea because we haven't seen it yet this year. But we agree it should be a physical war if that happens

I understand the fear. On the other hand I would rather go into a tough game against a tough opponent having been tested. And believe me Tennessee has been tested.

A&M has had to scrap as well. Arkansas gave a good fight as well as South Carolina. I hope that it is a barn burner.

I like 6 to 9 defensive struggle games. The one that makes the last mistake looses the game. Those are the most fun to me.

I'll be in Section 416, Row 35 nose bleed. Hope it's fun.

This one may be setting up nicely for you. We're coming off two straight emotional games and we play 'bama next week. Also, 3 key defenders likely out, well, 1 for sure anyway.

Of course, we still haven't played 4 straight quarters of good football this year, we do that and our chances are very good.

From the outcome of events the past few weeks, it's obvious Jesus loves football. Come Saturday, I hope he chooses us again.

My biggest worry is Knights legs against our LB's If we had JRM and Kirkland it would be a non issue for me, but Kirkland and maybe JRM will both be out and I worry Knight is going to put up Dobbs like numbers up against us on the ground. This is the worst type of offense we could draw with all the injuries on our D

Absolutely. I have watched the Aggies several times. Knight has had some Dobbs' like runs. By that I mean, how come you can't tackle him. They are both good at what they do.

I've had a bad feeling about this game since Fall camp. Tough road game wedged in between very important rivalry games. Could feel a lot like Arkansas last year.

I think that the way the season has gone so far, the Vols are not over looking anyone. If they had won the first 5 games going away I would be worried about that. I don't think that they will over look A&M for Bama.

Just keep showing grit. They are the Cardiac Kids!
