This is a serious question. How do you people recognize these recruits when you see them at airports/resturants/supermarkets? If I saw one of our higher profile players I would likely recognize them but I wouldnt know say....Clowney/Clear/Richardson if they were to come up and donkey punch me.

Im just amazed that someone can be in a crowded airport waiting at the baggage claim and say "Hey honey, look its Brent Calloway! You know hes the 7th best OLB in the country!"

Pretty sure you'd know who Clowney is if he's punching you haha. Btw we just picked up on Lanier

I suggest you look up what donkey punch means. :birgits_giggle:

I don't think your honey would be very happy with that.

There is probably a very small chance he would even get a good look at them if they came up and donkey punched him....unless there is a mirror.

Going back to the recruiting thing in Fla. (Miami area and such), I heard that teams were trying to stay away from this area knowing that kids that are coming out of there have discipline problems...Nu'Keese would be a good example. Miami and Fla State always had thugs playing for them, and I would think we would like to stay away from that type....thoughts?

i live in this area..and i blame parents, teachers and coaches for the discipline problem

most of the kids have no father figure..you give them a guy that cares and gives them good advice (randy shannon) and you will see how they change from thugs to good kids with great grades

The way I knew Maggitt was from seeing his picture on scout and this board volnation and he looks identical to his picture and especially his dreadlocks. Also, he was wearing the same outfit in this video YouTube - VID00043 so I imagine this video was taken Sunday morning in Knoxville airport and I saw him in Charlotte airport on his connecting flight to Florida like my connecting flight to Florida. Some recruits I wouldn't reconize but some look just like the pictures we see on this board.

Depends on the school and kid!!! Kicker Michael Palardy HS St. Thomas Aquinas is an excellent high school school down here and there are many more. There are all sorts of school recruiting South Florida players such as Michigan, Rutgers, Marshall, Louisville, Auburn, Ole Miss besides the big 5 Florida schools.

Just look at the Florida HS player commit list here Look how many D-1 commits from Florida -Incredible!!!

Great point MC, I live in this area as well and even though I'm a Vol, I admire the job Randy Shannon did cleaning up the Cane program and getting it under control.
