Interesting Mid-Season Rankings

According to the AP Top 25 prior to todays games, the conference dispersement in the top 25 is as follows:

Big 12 = 4 Big10 = 4 Pac10 = 4
SEC = 6 ACC = 1 BigE = 1
WAC = 2 MW = 3

I find it somewhat amusing that all the talking heads on the sports shows and football game calling have spent so much time this year talking about how the conference is down this year, yet mid-season the SEC has the most ranked teams of any conference. Nebraska lost to a weak Texas team, but will no doubt keep the love in the media.

Boise should be elated at the crap going on in college football.

Nebraska's title hopes are done. Their schedule has been and is going to finish as piss-poor and they could not afford a loss with the computers.

Boise's best hopes are basically hinging on a repeat of the end of the '07 season.
