Don't know if this has already been posted, but it's a good read. Saw it on Twitter.

She's a struggling fiction writer that gets by editing books for successful authors. She writes a "fictional" account of the search so far. She says fiction is how you get info out from sources that don't want to be named. Looks like she's getting her info from someone within the big donor circle.

In my "fictional" sequel to this novel, brother Billy screwed the whole state by ramming a gas tax hike through, by breaking every committee rule in the book to get the final bill to the floor, and never once declared his own conflict of interest, because you see -- his family business makes money off the float between collecting state sales tax and paying state sales tax. Right after that happens, a certain legendary investor from Omaha swoops in to buy 49% of the family business. The magical timing of such a brilliant investor. You like this plot so far, folks?

She spins a good tale. One that many folks on here already believe, having pieced it together themselves.

And that’s the ultimate arrogance of people like Haslam and the elites in both business and politics. They truly believe that everyday, working folks and those of lesser means are somehow less intelligent than they...that we are intellectually incapable of putting something like this together on our own.

The details are interesting regarding a real MOU and Peyton a candidate for the Browns front office...maybe that’s why Tony Basilio said there were two warring factions within the boosters, and that he felt Peyton was on the wrong side.

Regardless...we need to end Haslam influence. Both in our University and in our political offices. We need to force them to turn their attention solely to their corrupt business practices...and then do our best to curtail them there as well.

No Haslam will ever get a vote from me for US Senate.

Haslam's not running for Corker's seat. That's Marshas seat. She's wins in a landslide. As for Manning, it's painful to watch him side with the dark side just to keep his own professional career chugging along. Worst part of this is -- we really could have had Gruden.

Big Jim Haslam played for General Neyland. He is a brilliant businessman. His sons are the rich kids who weren't happy with a pony for Christmas and had it made into glue. They have no talent other than being a rich man's son. The skill and talent in that family is over 80 and letting control pass to the ungrateful spoiled fools who never worked for anything.

Cliff notes?

Its worth it to read the entire thing. Especially the last 2 sentences. Very peculiar. Here they are

All fiction when you get right down to it. Just…100%, complete, nothing to see here fiction.

No, really. It's fiction. Promise.

Not saying these mean anyting. But they are very strange.

Big boosters all thought Gruden was a done deal (except Haslam) when Schiano done deal leaked. Big boosters are pissed and she hinted that they are revolting and Gruden still may be a possibility (a long shot).

Interesting read. That explains why Peyton came down on the side of Haslam ... he's sponsoring Peyton's entry into an NFL executive suite.

Cancer. Yes ... it's cancer and it's eating UT alive from the inside.

Yes it is. This story would have been written and published in local media if anyone had been willing to corroborate it on the record.

Or it would have been, if it wasn't "fiction."

Please read what you just said...

I hope that helped you realize how d..n delusional it was.

Peyton Manning is a household name throughout America. He doesn't need Haslam or anyone else endorsing him for any career choice he makes.

effing ridiculous the lengths some of you little boys are willing to go to make sure you get a hunk for a coach. Turning on one of the all time greats of Vol history?

Pathetic.

There's enough fiction floating around on this mess, I don't need to read an actual fiction writer.

That's five minutes of my life I'd like back. :banghead2:
