About what I expected from him. He is exaggerating the effects of health care reform. Obama has stated his primary goal is to provide all CHILDREN with healthcare. Big difference from universal healthcare. Much of Morris' article is based on what he thinks Obama will do based on his campaign. Obama has hinted recently he might back off on raising the corportate rate. We'll see about that. Overall, it is a prediction of extremes. Morris' lives up to his reputation as being a little over the top with this opinion.

that's right, giving everyone free healthcare insn't universal heathcare at all. yeah, he'll start with children, then, as all governmnet programs, it will expand and everyone will have utopia of universal healthcare.

corporate taxes?:eek:lol: ask pelosi about backing off corporate taxes. if he doesn't raise them, that fascist will.

Obama also hinted recently that he might not close Gitmo as soon as he planned and that he will definitely spend plenty of time with the Commanders on the ground before making a decision about Iraq.

His first Executive Order will be to close Gitmo and there are rumors flying around that we will now be out of Iraq in 14 months. So, until I am convinced that BHO is sincere in anything that he has said recently, I will place my trust in Dick Morris on this issue.

It's a waste of time if you can't get parents to take advantage of free health care for their kids. Anyway, didn't Hawaii already try this and the program went under in like 6 months?

Obama has said all along Reagan did some of it right, and wants to mirror his tax cuts...and it seems that worked out alright for us.

yeah, by expanding the SCHIP program to include incomes up to 61k/year and "children" as old as 24 or 25 if they are still living at home.

throw that in with the children of illegal immigrants...

add to it the proposed free medical care for senior citizens.

it would be stupid for Obama to raise corporate tax rates, especially with his proposed income tax increases on individuals and small businesses making over 250k/year.
