Interesting article on QB development(or lack thereof)

Nico will end up in the league. May not be drafted and may or may not last long but, he will be there. If they took Joe on hypotheticals, they will take a chance with him too hoping they can coach him up.

I wasn’t much of a Joe fan, but comparing the two is crazy. I’m not sure about numbers or stats, they may be close. But watching the two play they were in different worlds.

You could watch Joe and see flashes and think maybe he could be developed. When I watched Nico I saw none of it. He couldn’t make progressions or read a defense. He just wasn’t football smart.

Unless his play really changes, or he looks much better wherever he transfers next, I don’t see him getting a shot. Being labeled a 5 star outta high school ain’t enough to get you there. He’s not even mediocre at this point.

LOL so we're hiding the AtoZ sports articles behind MSN headers now, are we? Funny, that.

(Note - not accusing the OP of doing it, I'm just amused at how it seems like the AtoZ articles get posted with aggregator links which conceal their source these days.)

It happens. Bryce Brown had less to show and he got a shot. Others have made it to the league as well. As bad as he actually is, he will get the opportunity.

Nico's worst enemy that you cannot teach nor can you create in practice. (Processing Speed) Hard to developed processing speed, unless you have experience. Second, he had talent, but he could not read defenses and held onto the ball too long. He may develop it over time but three coaches in basically 3 years potentially will screw him up even more. Bad advice, bad decisions. There was no choice here but to let him go. Writers can write all they want but there is no fix until Nico gets influences and himself out of his head.

They really weren’t in different worlds. The only real difference is Nico is skinnier and has better instincts when running the ball. Both have horrible fundamentals, accuracy, and football IQ.

Neither one is good.

Easier to do as a running back. He may get drafted but odds are he will be a UDFA who gets invited to camp and maybe bounces around a few practice squads

This is the true article source: https://atozsports.com/nashville/vo...aleava-and-other-quarterbacks-are-struggling/

The commenter was just stating it’s weird that aggregators like MSN and Yahoo are just straight up pulling articles from other sites and getting credit for them like it was their work, but it’s nothing wrong on you because you’re just posting something you saw.

I saw him the same way.

I wonder how much of the struggles of the recent top qbs in these classes has to do with Covid. Most of them had at least part of a season cancelled, and it appears that could have stunted their growth. Maybe it takes an extra year or two for them to realize their potential.

They aren’t hiding anything. There is literally an AtoZ Sports link you can click on at the top that brings you directly to their page on MSN. That tells me they are business partners and MSN distributes their articles for more clicks.

MSN and AtoZ Sports are clearly in a partnership because AtoZ Sports is featured on MSN’s website. Y’all need to stop spreading false information. I don’t even use MSN but within two seconds could figure this out. There is nothing weird about it lol
