With the current state of the program and the fact that no one wants to do anything to fix it I am thinking that it is time to make football at UT a Division III program so we can pay these coaches what they are worth.

Power struggles between boosters historically is not fan fiction at UT or most big programs for that matter.

The power boosters have to choose coaches is wildly overestimated here. And even if it wasn't, the version of events that finds its way to VN most certainly is fan fiction.
