I generally agree. Unfortunate, but that does not mean you don’t start planning right now to get the decision perfect in 2022.

Too many variables to plan for anything. Best to just have due diligence complete. But this has been done before, unfortunately the program is considered toxic and coaches aren't receptive.

Just a reminder for everyone checking this thread or looking for threads like it. This site has been laughably wrong year after year in regards to fan fiction and rumors around coaching searches. The last accurate prediction that I saw on this forum in regards to any coaching change was 2008 with mostly accurate timelines around Fulmer's firing, Kiffin's courting, and his staff assembly. Since then, it has been one uninformed guess or sensationalized rumor after another. No one saw Dooley coming. No one saw Butch being the likely hire until shortly before it was announced. Wasn't even on the radar. Accurate, meaningful information around Pruitt coming was largely nonexistent as well in favor of 20 other threads for coaches we had leaked info about.

Smokescreens, flight trackers, leaked conversations, inside sources, leaked info from boosters, pictures of whatever coach at Calhoun's...

Some people love the trolling and ridiculousness of it all. It is addicting and fun. But don't take any of the information seriously.

You joined a couple of days ago (maybe) and immediately posted nonsensical BS over a day or two. Then you come up with a broad trolling statement stating the AD and coaches hired have sucked for 15 years. No joke. We have been thru it the whole time and comment it on here daily. STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!! I had it explained to me a few days ago that UT football has fricking unlimited funds. Of course, we know that is not so. Fulmer gave the guy an extension in July. Fulmer should have to pay that part of the buyout or be fired. Let the choice be his to make.

Study behavioral economics and you will be able to guess why I am posting. I am as frustrated as anyone here about the state of the program. My intent is not to rile people up, only incentive was to let people know that boosters are not happy with the current performance and made an interesting move. With that said, the fan base will need to be rather vocal (in all regards) when the time comes to replace Pruitt.

Well people on this board hold Deerpark in high regard and he said Pruitt was not fired during half time (as I implied as well). The difference is I am saying the change was forced by boosters and Deerpark stated it was solely Pruitt against AD advice. You got 3 options to choose from.

Too bad there's no Gruden on MNF anymore. We could have tuned in for his tie color, or to hear him say "Yakob Yohnson from the University of Tennessee, boy I love this time of year on Rocky Top!" Then we'd have no less than 8 new threads full of Grumors. The Grumors always get the ball rolling.

And this is exactly what is happening on the offensive side of the ball as well. Pruitt calls the shots or they get fired. oc, and qb coaches hands are tied.

Look we deal directly with 2 or 3 major donors here in Nashville and a few in or around Knoxville. This is pure tihsllub. Brumbaugh was fired because of a clash in philosophy with CJP in calling the defense which led to an exchange and then he told him it was time for him to go. Boosters are very upset at CJP for not yanking JG and getting one of the other guys ready to rock. It will always be unacceptable for us to lose to Ky, Arkansas, and the rest of the lil brothers of the poor.
Here's the thing they've committed to 5 yrs. The major factor this is built on is team growth and competitiveness. Growth they're so so and thats because Chaney is being paid BIG bucks and is hamstrings by JG. Chaney is loved and known to produce an exciting offense due to his previous stint at UT so the fingers point to CJP as to why we haven't moved on from JG. I think now it's Bailey's time to take the helm and show what he has per my source. For the record he was NOT ready Saturday and was only given limited reps still during the off week.
