how old are you?I sleep in 1-1.5 hr shifts. Have for awhile now. I will fall asleep within a minute of my head hitting the pillow and get into a good sleep quick. Then, I'll wake up every hour or so for the rest of the night. I will wake up at the slightest sound. My mind races and is thinking, planning, dreading, excited, or whatever.
I tried Ambien, but the hangover sucked for me and my taste changed a little.
Benadryl makes me jumpy and I don't want to get hooked on xanex or something. Really not many options.

Try wearing ear plugs. That's what I do. How often do you exercise? May be good to get stress out a few hours before bed.
I may try that. Though anytime I played a sport at night, I never could wind down. It is weird that I'll get up, walk the house, grab a sip of water, lay back down and be back asleep within 2 minutes.
