The same thing that got them "INSIDE" is what keeps them from handing out BS on this board!

I'm sure we do have insiders on the board but I think they are laughing at most of us!

I heard Deerpark was an adidas sales rep and UT switching to Nike several years ago shut him out. Atlanta Vol will do because that's as close as anyone is gonna get. Folks don't like info getting out and they keep it close to the vest.

If you know a former player, that doesn't mean much because unless they are connected to AD's office or some of the new coaches they probably just hear rumors just like us.

I work with a couple former players (starters). One of them has kids that play at UT now, but they usually don't seem to know much more than your average fan.

Of course there are inside sources. I'm not one and don't know one personally. I'm not a koala and dont have one of those either. But they are (both) out there (along with the truth). Currently, the insiders are wisely keeping what little they know to themselves. I'll hang up and listen.

Deerpark but is legit but never gives info, if he has any, on coaching searches.

Larry is legit but has less access now.

In my 9 years on this site, those are the ONLY two I believe.

I have seen everyone else be totally wrong multiple times.

There are a handful here and I bet none of them even know where CJP is leaning toward this OC hire.

I had 3 inside sources several years ago, they died before Fulmer got the ax....They were 100% Accurate...miss those days.....

If VN actually had inside sources then fans wouldn’t be going insane every season we replace someone on the staff bc someone would prove to be accurate. someone may know someone who knows something....but apparently no one knows anything relevant.

I had an inside glimpse of our team for a few years and it soured me bad. Thank God that coach is gone!

Atlanta vol is legit.

People can have inside sources though and unless its Pruitt or Fulmer, can be wrong.

He said we need to get bigger, stronger and meaner. Went on to say that recruiting will have to get us to the next level (shocker) because not much of what we need is there now. Said nothing about the OC search. Blew the usual sunshine at Johnny Majors and Fulmer then moved on to hoops and talked with Bill Justice for the rest of the time.

Can someone tell me whatever happened to that guy in the Gruden thread that talked about scotch and golf all the time? I can’t remember his name for the life of me. Dude swore he WAS the inside source.

Beaver. A lot of people claimed to be insiders in that thread. Beaver, Atlanta Vol, etc...

All were wrong, but how quickly we forget. Haha
