Got through about half the workout today, and strained my calf. Oh well. Tomorrow is break day, so I got some rest coming.

No matter what workout you are doing, you should eat something a minimum of an hour before you workout. I learned that the hard way with hard crashes after I was done.

I agree. You should at least eat something small and healthy if you're going to do cardio when you wake up. Cardio on an empty stomach isn't really beneficial like many think.

Well with cardio you don't really need to heal. That is why you can do it every day.

I never do cardio longer than 20-30 minutes. HIIT FTW.

Same and I barely even go past 20 min even with the warmup and cool down.

True with moderate intensity stuff. But I know with HIIT you're recommended to take a day off after since it should be really hard on your legs.

If I ever go past 20, it's usually just a light cool down. No way I could do HIIT everyday.

Yeah 2-3 times a week is enough for me depending on my current goal. How many intervals do you normally do? I usually do 7 but sometimes go up to 9, but then I'll just increase the speed/incline the next week and do 7.

Well, I haven't done cardio in a few months :)

I usually do 5 minute warm-up, 5 intervals, then 5 minutes of cool down. I keep it simple.

i was doing that for a while, but every wk i'd add an extra interval until i hit 10 intervals

Right now....

Breakfast - Cereal with fruit. I use 2% milk.

Lunch - Chicken sandwich with Wheat Bread, no cheese.

Dinner - Whatever low carb/low fat dinner E-Mealz has scheduled for us.

I typically do not snack that much, but when I do it's like a Kroger or whatever store you use protein bar. It's not about meal replacement here.

Dude come on now. You know you sneak at least a half a pizza a day in somewhere.

Well, got back on track after resting for a little over a day, and the calendar wanted Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs. I got through Pure Cardio, but was only able to do half of the Cardio Abs. Man, I'm tired, and the wife wants me to do dishes and vacuum. :banghead2:

Dishes and Vacuum is classified as wife work. Let her know. Thank me later.

Daughter got me sick, so I have to wait another day before hitting Plyometrics. Wish I could workout, but I'm drained.

After two days of being sick, I tried Plyo yesterday, but only got halfway. Today, same workout, 10 minutes away from finishing. Man, I didn't realize the recovery from being sick when your working out. It sucks!!

I restarted Week 5 because of being sick this past week. Almost got through both Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs, and was 5 minutes from finishing the whole thing.

Are you using any supplements or pre-workout?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

My daily regimen....

Multivitamin - Vit-A-Cell - 1 cap full in the AM
Max EFA - 2 in the AM, 2 in the PM
Max CLA - 3 in the AM, 3 in the PM
Max LiquiCarn - 1 Tablespoon 3 times a day
Jack3d - Fruit Punch - Pre-Workout
MaxPro - Super Concentrated Protein Powder

I also make sure to eat at least 1 protein bar throughout the day. Either the Adkins or the South Beach Living.

Jack3d is an awesome pre-workout! USP Labs makes some really strong products. I'm using Super Cissus for some osteo arthritis I have from Lyme disease. Only thing I have found for relief.

I have been using protein from prosource.net called Vectron. It's my favorite at the moment.
