Inky's injury was very serious and he was close to death afterwards and it really was a miracle that he didn't die. I don't recall all of the details but he writes of this in detail in his book.
I was at that game when Inky got hurt. I will never forget what the stadium sounded like when he went down. I have never heard it that quiet with that many people in it.
What a way to turn something awful around though. Inky is somebody that has really done something amazing and wonderful instead of wallering (sp?) in self-pity.
I've heard him speak once and he's a truely amazing guy. So glad we can call him a VFL and an out-spoken Christian. Hard to find these days in the media/public.
