I really hope he gets the full use of his arm back. Anyone know the current status on his rehab?

In a word, no.

What it comes down to is whether the body is able to repair the nerve trauma, which would allow electrical impulse conduction to the muscle. If there were no conduction at all, the entire arm (and into the shoulder) would have been amputated at the hospital within 72 hours of the injury. Since there is obviously some conduction, albeit a very small amount, there's always hope that it will end up repaired.

The bigger issue is that we know very little about neural injuries. Whereas we know the entire healing process of a broken bone or a torn muscle, nerves appear to be almost entirely a random process. We know about what must exist for repair to take place, but we have no way to test whether the conditions for it actually exist.

Fulmer and Chavis with their poor coaching caused Inky to have to make that play and hurt himself for life...if I were him I'd still be ticked off.

That has to be one of the most ridiculous posts I have ever read in here. You need therapy.

I thought I remembered Simon leaving, thanks.

he was fired effectively. all of the GA's were except Inky. Inky's time as a GA is up. He isn't sure what he will do next. Probably go into high school coaching..

I was at the USAF game when it happened. I was sitting up in the nosebleeds on the UT side to the left of the luxury boxes about halfway up with my ex-gf's stepdad, who was a USAFA grad (and one of the original Falcons).

The Hit happened on the press box side of the field, IIRC around the USAF 20-30ish or so. Sounded like a pistol being fired. Mos def the loudest pad shot I've ever heard in Neyland.

I blame Foolmore and Chavis because a game against AF should have never been that close to make us play balls to wall like we did. AF should have been a walk in the part but nooooooooo, our former coach and D coordinator had to make it difficult.

I'll agree but I think they held some stuff in that game back because Florida was next. JMO

i am not one to bash people but what are you thinking? they had absolutely nothing to do with what happened... i tore my acl playing football and i dont blame my coaches! when a player steps on the field he lays it all on the line doing what he truly loves and that is to play football. you really need to reevaluate things before you post.
