I would encourage each and every one of you to go to UTsports.com and see the video on Inky Johnson. Its awesome. I hope he stays at UT to become a coach. It seems like coaching is what he wants to do. He is DEFINATELY what makes college sports so great.

I just think for him to have the positive attitude that he DOES have after the injury he got is just amazing.

I wish they would allow him to do the invocation before the Vandy game...would be an incredible improvement over the liberal hag that said it before the La Lafayette game.
Inky is definitely an inspiration to everyone not just football players.

Its amazing looking at his size. Obviously he has lost some muscle weight since his injury, but he just isn't a large man. To be able to lay the hits that he laid with that kind of frame...you know he was going balls to the wall at all times.

Who was the liberal hag? Nice jester about Inky BTW.

Inky is a "lifer." No signs of quitting, giving up, feeling sorry for himself, or looking for handouts. He's the type of kid that wouldn't have relied on his football skills to get through life, anyways. He's a lesson to be learned from, that's for sure.

Does anyone have a picture of Inky a few games ago when he was a Captain? I posted this in the picture thread but it got no response. I heard they announced him as a captain but there was a commercial running on the jumbotron.

I don't recall a commercial. When they announced him, the place exploded.

Just what I read from a thread on here, I was 6 hours away on the other side of the state so I wouldn't know. Good to know that the house did rock for him!

Exploded may not exactly be correct. But it was the loudest cheer for a captain announcement I've heard in a while.
