Injury Updates

I think if he's ready to go, we try to get him in for a few spots. It'll do him good to get a little exposure to playing in that type of environment rather than just throwing him into the fire in Tuscaloosa.
If he’s can go, he needs to get the cobwebs out of the way and be ready to give his all next game.

If Sanders comes back, does Perry move to guard in place of Umarov? Before the season started it seemed like Satterwhite was neck and neck with Pendleton for center and it seemed like Pendleton was going to play guard to get our best five out there until Perry emerged so strong…
I believe Satterwhite struggled with inconsistent snaps. Glad Pendleton was able to claim the position.

Yea, knock on wood but we haven’t had too many issues snapping the ball…Pendelton has had a couple snap infractions but no really bad snaps and I believe this is his first year to really play center

I know it’s looking like McCoy could be back for Arkansas, and the more I think about it, the more I believe this to be the most likely outcome. I know there was talk of him just rehabbing and going straight to NFL draft based on last year’s season. But I imagine that an NFL team isn’t going to take that big of a chance on an untested, reconstructed knee. He would still likely get drafted, but returning and proving his knee isn’t an issue will likely put him back into the upper rounds resulting in a much better contract.

But maybe I’m wrong.

You're probably right. I believe playing out this year could be the different between being a1st or 2nd rounder vs a 5th rounder. Possibly even an unsigned free agent. If his knee is stable he needs to show it for the big bucks. The doctors can confirm that it looks ok and his combine work can be super but there is no substitute for game day evaluations.
