Thanks, LWS. Tatum and Smith are definitely injured. The rest could be anything, really, like conflicting school work or other schedule conflicts. Both Drew Richmond and Ethan Wolf were playing last Saturday, didn't see either of them get hurt.

Will just have to wait and see what, if anything, is said about them Wednesday.

Appreciate it.

I still say Richmond should be a guard, his skill set sets him up for that imo

He's good to go. Butch said he could have went back into the game last night, but with the situation they felt comfortable with McBride.

Butch felt good about JG could have went back into the ONE SCORE game vs Southern Miss

But decided to burn a red shirt.

He seriously thinks everyone is stupid.

So ready for the next mid major coach to get to Tennessee

Keep in mind this is the same coach who said QD was good to go and would be at Kentucky.

Then came out next day QD was out for the year.
Had shoulder surgery

TD throwing arm is still missing. Legsfullofleaditis still impacting his game as well.

Butch knew he was going to be lambasted about burning his redshirt and played him more.

Is this the same QB that fell to the ground to end the half because his ankle hurt to much to kneel ?

Butch has made a lot of mistakes on his way to losing the team...this ain’t one. Think JG and the wildcat gets us through Mizzou,LSU and Vandy...ruminate amongst yourselves.

I'm kinda glad Butch doesn't listen to fans, media, etc. I would be willing to bet that every football coach knows waaaay more about what is going on than fans and media. It may be "coach speak" but, CBJ hasn't called out the injured or poor performers which shows some class. Some folks on VN critical of everything and know nothing. I was blown away with the report that of 18 OL players at beginning of season, we are down to the last seven. At some point the NCAA needs to earn their pay and figure out why the increase in injuries across the board. We are not the only team with a lot of injured student athletes.

I was with you Wes til the comment About Tennessee being the only team with injury problems. I counted at least ten top 20-30 teams with more injuries from last week's injury report. I do believe this deserves NCAA attention. Look at cut blocks, penalties, treatments, recurring injuries, returning to play to soon, playing to early at certain positions or two much (carries or tackles).

Lack of depth exposes and contributes to injury. Players, play more minutes, increasing fatique, which leads to being out of position. Some injuries are fluke like Jennings' wrist break. One injury should not decimate your depth. In this case, it did. That, with Josh Smith's continued problems exposed a young, unprepared WR Corp.

This is a problem because Butch has failed to manage his roster. Id say Preston Williams and Vic Wharton would help this team right now. Also consider Butch's failure in recruiting Jalen McClesky, amoung others.

Questionable for this weekend, as noted in the OP (which I try to keep updated). Might know more today from the press conference.
