I would imagine a big part of that increase was homeowner's insurance. Mine has gone through the roof, pun intended. I get it because materials and labor costs have gone up too for contractors to repair damages. Went shopping about two months ago and got with an agent that got me a much better deal, but won't be surprised to see them raise their rates too.

Damn still waiting on my grocery prices and gas prices to go down….any day now right? But thank god we have the gulf of America now. Priorities.

Maybe if every president and Congress since Clinton would had not printed money like it was going out of style and we would adopt a balanced budget amendment. As long as the citizenry expects the .gov to be Santa Claus, the inflation will continue and only get worse. Or maybe paring back some of these agencies by half or in totality will be a good thing.

Don’t know about you, but I’m not in the habit of hanging my hat on anyone’s word unless they’re in my inner circle. Fed actions is largely the only mechanism to quell inflation until we stop spending like drunken sailors. Of course, we shouldn’t forget the egg issue is an isolated issue of its own since it’s tied to bird flu fears.

Just dont eat eggs or buy gas. Gulf of America is more valuable than those anyways.
