Indianas linemen looked like lumberjacks! We are a long ways off on overall team strength. Good news if true looking at a change in S&C coaching.
Watched them closely and other than all being white, UT had every bit the size. Perry has an NFL level body. Period. Assuming Moe is back and Sanders moves to LT, Perry at RT, Umarov at guard and Sattewhite at center. Elerbee is the problem on the line plain and simple. Got to go there to see real improvement.

I understand Cignetti is a fantastic coach. I don’t understand how it turned this quickly. They on steroids or something?
He’s won everywhere he’s gone. And he brought a lot of those same players with him. And now they have an Elite QB. Defense is 🔝 3 in the country. They’re tough, disciplined, together. They don’t beat themselves.

I would guess that a lot of it is who Indiana is not rather than who they have become. We'll see if they can keep it up in the coming years. Miami, Indiana, and Ole Miss look like the only teams that really showed up for these playoffs. Ohio State played like dogs. I'm sure Bama has more talent and I know UGA does, but however heart matters and the teams that haven't ever been anybody, other than Miami are winning the old fashioned way. They have big chips and play with heart while the other teams thought they could just show up and out-talent them. I don't expect Oregon to survive either. They kicked field goals.

Mark Cuban. He basically told Indiana,I'll cover whatever you need. You coach, I'll pay. Cuban has dozens of businesses that he can filter NIL through.
We basically have Haslem. The Nico situation did not help our money givers want to give more

We need this guy:

He has a past, good and bad. Won every where he has been.
Not sure how the bad part of his past will play with the TN administration.
Id love for him to be here. S&C have a huge impact on the team and it's structure. They spend lots of time with the players

When you look at team stats for IU this year, two things pop off the page:

1) 41 passing TDs with 7 interceptions. That's great ball ball control and play calling discipline.

2) 50 penalties for 380 yards...27 yds per game. That is both sides of the ball combined and speaks to a very highly discplined team.

I haven't looked, but I bet Tennessee hit 380 penalty yards in the first 5 games.

Heupel teams have always been highly penalized. He either can't correct it or condones it. Team reflects the coach.

The most consistent thing about his past is his success, not his failures—and he has remedied that situation.
