Light Grenades sucks, but I still love me some A Crow Left of the Murder. Everything before that is amazing.

Disagree, LG is a good listen. I think alot of fans sort of burn a hole in a moment of time when they heard their favorite band for the first time and that sound is etched in you're brain and if the band evolves in a different direction we have bias ears, as opposed to a band we have never heard. I think its important to listen to every album independantly, not this whole "It sounds nothing like Make yourself or Science" because every album should sort of reflect the person or band you are at that moment, I respect that they try and redefine themselves in a regular basis or you will end up sounding like a band with 5 albums that all sound the same "Linkin Park ,Disturbed".

Alive at Red Rocks DVD was remarkable, i think if i had one dream concert i could have been to that would have been it, maybe throw the Foo Fighters at Wembley last year when Page and John Paul made a cameo for a few songs. The past few Incubus shows i have been to they always end with Aqueous Transmission, a great way to send you out .

i was at that show. the deftones were terrible. incubus was incredible.

make yourself is a great album. prolly in my top 10.

The deftones have never had a bad show, granted i havent been to every show but I have faith in Chino.......

exactly, you must not have been to either of the 2 shows we were talking about. I must admit that I saw them one year at Ozzfest, before the other show I mentioned, and they were much better.

I guess im coming from a bias viewpoint with the Deftones, was Chino drunk and sloppy? Was it the set itself? BTW if you guys out there pray at all, a word for Chi Cheng the bassist for the Deftones who was in a serious car accident in November of last year coming home from his sisters funeral and has been in a coma ever since, usually after that long in a coma its not going to be good news but say a good word for a miracle...

it was the sound. it was so loud and distorted that it was unlistenable. i'd say 1/3 or more of the people there left.

agreed. couldn't even tell which song they were playing. had a similar experience the only time i've seen slipknot in concert.

The best news though is Incubus is back on tour this summer! Unfortunately no dates in Tennessee.

Tour dates here

ATRL - News: Incubus is Back!!! .... Tour Dates

They probably won't be back in Nashville........ever. I can't say I would blame them either. I went to their last show at Sommet Center in Nashville and the place was half empty and some people in luxury boxes were actually watching a football game. I was on the floor near the stage and I could see the game on the TV and Brandon Boyd asked them if they would turn the TV off and enjoy the rock show. For a town known as Music City, Nashville has a hard time selling a show out.

That's weird i wouldn't expect that coming out of Nashville. When i saw them in Tampa two years ago it was a outdoor venue, i would say there were close to 20 thou there and the crowd was in the show the whole time.

Ugh. Chicago is the closest they're coming to me. I hate my area, it sucks music-wise. I want to see them badly.

Incubus is my favorite band...that isn't called Led Zeppelin. I watch their DVD of the Red Rocks show about once a year.
I actually had backstage passes to meet them before the show when they were in Atlanta last time, but I didn't even make it to the show until right before they went on, thanks to a wreck in the middle of the interstate.
Great show at least. Closed with aqueous transmission. Couldn't believe that!

I actually considered making my way up to Chicago for the coming concert, but then found out that the cheapest tix are $95. Plus a train ride and lodging and time I'd miss from work. Can't do it.

the new incubus album is very good. i highly reccomend it. first is a greatest hits second is mostly unreleased stuff. some real good tunes on both. hardcore fans will have all of the first cd, except for black heart inertia which is an incredible song.

Yeah, actually its next month on the 15th in Tampa at this outdoor venue. I saw them at this same place in 07 and learned that the lawn tickets were crap ,so spent the extra bucks for some better seats..
