Yeah he's got a bad habbit of excluding the parts that don't support his arguments. And Kiffin will never get those 2 SEC titles cause there's no one in this league who hire him even if he agreed to do it for free. He may win his fair share of PAC 10 titles, notice I said may, but I think we can all agree that its not quite the same thing. And if the PAC 10 adds a few heavy weights (Texas and OU) like some think they might I don't see him coming anywhwere close to 150. I've been wrong before though so who knows?

Well, my choices are Majors Fulmer Kiffin and Dooley. I was a little young for Majors, Fulmer was and is kind of my definition of Tennessee (He is all I know besides Kiffin.) Kiffin seemed like a good coach while he was here...but he wasn't here for very long and by the way he left and some rumors he didn't seem to care about the school, so I couldn't really pick him. Dooley hasn't even coached a game yet, so that's an obvious no. I like Fulmer. Not just by default, He did a lot of good things while he was here and loved being here. It was just his time to go (maybe a little late). No reason to hate him for that.

Made possible by people like you allowing him to hang around 8 years beating mediocre teams and padding his numbers; while getting his clock cleaned by better coaches and winning 0 Championships.

I have never heard a fan of Saban, Meyers, Stoops, Carroll, etc. touting their win/loss record. Instead they discuss Championships. But hey, I guess if you have none this Century, were fired by your alma mater for cause, and cannot find anyone who wants you as their coach then you have got to hang your hat on something.

JustinG- Great point. VolDad- couldn't have said it better.I want rings. Kiffin (while coach, for the thick-headed), imo, gave us the best route there. Yall can act like you didn't feel the same way all you want. I saw everyones posts and talked to everyone (sporting T's, F's and A's alike.) So I know that 97.8% of the CFBworld took notice to the rumbles out of Knoxville.

One of the biggest Bama homers I know called me immediately after the 09 Tennessee/Bama game.

He said, and I quote: "He (Kiffin) might run his mouth but the man can coach"

I was excited for what that staff was doing at Tennessee.

I saw firsthand how the players responded to Fulmer and then saw how the talked of Kiffin and company. There was a spark there that had been missing.

That being said, Fulmer was the HC for the 98 NC run. So therefore, he is my favorite while also being my most disliked.

I was born in 1969. I actually liked majors better than fulmer. I know fulmer recruited better players, but majors
had some really good seasons (85, 89) with his players
who at times overachieved. (91 ND) Fulmer's championship teams played a couple of games that could have easily gone the other way.

I assume you do understand the history of Tennessee and championships?

4 National Championships since the SEC was formed in 1933 and 2 of those in the first 7 years of existance. The other 2 NC's occurred during the next 70 years or 1 every 35 years.

13 SEC Championships since the league was formed in 1933. 6 of those were in the first 19 years of the league. the other 7 have occurred in the last 58 years or 1 every 8 years.

There might be reasons other than coaching that it is hard to win championships at Tennessee (like many other schools in the SEC)....of course blaming coaching is always the easiest avenue for fans...

Im sure the alabama fans were very aprreciative that kiffin ran the clock out and chose to kick a field goal when we werent in fg range.

You dont hear it from thier fans cause they dont have fans like YOU running around dissecting thier records to make up stupid BS just for the sake of an argument.You never have anything good to say, you wait for someone to say something good then you jump in with your smart ass attitude and smart elick responses,and you are so far from the truth it aint even funny..you just keep kidding yourself,because i know whats going on and maybe someday the light will flick on for you!!Those other coaches dont have to put up with fans like you that all they live for is to drag the team and the fan base down all the time...when it comes to you and SGM,i could care less to ever read anything either of you have to say,cause most the time..its crap anyways!!!
