Tennessee snubbed: Rivals.com released its top 100 football recruits for the class of 2008. No athlete from Tennessee made the list.

I have to give Fulmer credit for going coast to coast and getting the players since there is no consistent Div I talent in-state. I hope everyone noted that Im praising Phil for something.

Praise noted. I did see HV mention that there wouldn't be any highly rated TN prospects but could be some very good OL prospects in-state. Do they release the position lists later?

watch out for Tavarres Jefferson in the 2008 rankings.

Also, it looks like there are six Tennesseans in the Top 250.

I think this year will be just as good as last year's class top-to-bottom. Although there isn't a top 5 star talent, there will be plenty of 4 star and high 3 star guys. As of right now there are 6 players in the top 250, and there was only 5 in the final 250 from last years rankings. I also think Chris Jordan and possibly Wilks have a shot at crackin the top 100 if they have a great combine and do well at camps this summer.

Jordan only played a third of last season before he was injured so most of his ranking is based on his sophomore year.

the thing is that I actually like Phil, he seems like a genuine, sincere, very friendly, nice guy.......but so did Wade Houston and Buzz Peterson.
