Guess this is your favorite defensive class in a long time! GBOThis is one of my favorite recruits this cycle. I think he’s going to be a monster. The defensive pick ups in this class are amazing. Harmon, Perlotti, Gass, and Dye……Holy s*** that’s a freaking haul!!!
Edit: and if we land Campbell this is my favorite defensive class in a long time!
-VQOne of the fastest commitments to story written moments for us this class came from Mariyon Dye. Austin was with his family in Chicago in a department store when he got the call that Dye was about to pull the trigger. He thought he had one hour and 15 minutes but due to the time change from South Bend to Chicago, he only had 15 minutes. He quickly recorded the interview with Dye and sent it to Matt to turn. Nobody else had the news but Volquest when Dye committed some 15 minutes later and Austin was well on his way to the Chicago Peter Millar location where he popped the news with Matt’s help.
Next year we roll out Josephs, Herring, Ross and Dye. I wouldn’t trade ours for any program in the countryI took the top 5 DL/Edge (if they had 5) from each class and averaged them out.
Top DL classes.

Probably will be that SDE role where I think he can be really good. A lot bigger than Baron and a lot more functional on the end than West. Now that Garner actually has depth of blue-chip guys, should be able to set out a definitive plan for him. Not that he wasn't before but too many teams, good ones I might add, try to use those tweeners consistently at both and they end up not reaching their potential (i.e. Mykel Williams, Tyre West, etc)Maybe we let him play edge like those huge 5 star UGA edges they pull yearly. Will be a nice change of pace, apparently Dye is a combine freak.
