Im also a life long Pats fan (didnt get into college football until I moved down here, 15ish years ago) and just thought I would share how much Jerod Mayo has become a fan favorite up there. It was great watching him at UT then go to my favorite Pro team and just develop into a dominating player.

Yeah, hes been playing on almost every defensive snap now and has more playing time than Bruschi, Vrabel, and Thomas.
Alot of "Mayo" jerseys up there in beantown now!

Oh and FYI, just read that with Adalius Thomas out, Mayo could be moved to OLB and used more on pass rush. Maybe we'll see Mayo hammering ol' Favre...
