Please take a second to place yourself in his shoes.

The man has been here 3 years now. He knows fully well that Chaney is going to throw the entire offensive load on his shoulders. He knows that if UT is going to win it will be completely on his shoulders on the offensive side.

The man isnt stupid.

He realizes that there will be very few runs, and if if we are doing well at running, Chaney is still going to call pass play after pass play.

That sounds really cool to an outsider. But put yourself in his shoes. How much pressure is that? To know that your going to have to carry the offense play after play and play.

Part of me thinks he was upset during the game more with the play calling, and the fact we got away from the run when it was working, than anything else.

The kid is trying to be a leader. But he's a junior in college and the amount of pressure Chaney throws on him is insane.

I agree, but if Bray wants to be a big boy, he needs to step up to the line, read the coverage and make a big boy decision. If he has to check out of pass and into run to get the chains moving then so be it.

Agreed, but part of being a big time college quarterback is dealing with pressure. How you handle pressure is what makes you a great college player or not.

Bray doesn't like Chaney and has no confidence in his play calling ability. When things start going south Bray gets frustrated because he doesn't respect/trust Chaney and it almost looks like Bray wants to show everyone that Chaney is calling the wrong plays by half assing it. Once the other players on the team especially the defense see's Tyler lose his composure they throw in the towel. They have seen this enough to know once Tyler goes into his shell it's game, set, match. I think Dooley is going to have to find the balls to yank Tyler next time he loses his focus and composure. Tyler was a huge reason we were in the game in the 3rd quarter but maybe we need someone else to finish games like this. We need a second option whether it be a combination Tyler and the wildcat or just the wildcat for at least a couple of series while Tyler gets his head out of his ass.

The other thing I would say is Bray is still pretty inexperienced especially in big-time sec play...sure theres games like Ky last year but that's a crappy team we were suppose to beat. As far as the pressure of a team like Fla...he only had Fla last year...which was his first game against a big sec opponent and his best receiver got hurt....and then he got hurt the GA game...I think his nerves and/or panicking and trying to push plays in bad times have been a factor...but I think he will settle down once he's been in that situation more times or at least more consistently.....or at least I hope

Good grief....some of you are really grasping here. Too much pressure? He's a Jr....not a Fr!

How do you think he got to be a D1 starting QB in the SEC? I'm pretty sure being able to handle pressure has been a part of it.

I love how people on a message boards know the thoughts going through Bray's head..

Go ahead.. what am I thinking right now

P.S. Can any of you teach me to read minds, it would really help out my marriage as the wife seems to think I should be a mind reader

I agree...bray may have more emotional instability...but hopin he overcomes it with experience...maybe he wont....some people have it naturally...and it doesn't seem like he does...but I feel like some people do get better with this issue with experience

I bet Worley and Peterman would be glad to take some pressure off of Bray - they care about him that much. SMH
