And ppl will still say our staff doesn’t have a problem recruiting
Refer them to the UCF boards to read their "thoughts" about Heupel. Things can always change and be different, but history can be a valuable learning tool.

Coming off 2/3 10 win seasons and a cfp berth, we should not be missing on the amount of players we have been and settling for players with only 3 p5 offers, not to mention being ranked 37th in rankings heading into july

I think negative and hard selling is something we will always struggle against.

Again, DL recruiting is an area we dont need to worry.

Givens was frustrating, as is this one. But have to trust we'll be ok.

And frankly, Huepel has never had a losing record.

This actually kinda sucks. Killer offer list and besides the expected commitment from the Mississippi kid, who else do we have in mind along the DL that’s not an Edge?

This is inane. If Heupel had landed ANY of the classes he landed here at UCF they would have been over the Moon. It would be the best class in their history. Makes no sense to even compare the two situations. It's even nuttier given how well we've been recruiting.

You have to wonder what effect the blowout in Columbus has on recruiting? Making the playoffs was great but it also exposed where this program might be going.

LOL so Oregon getting blown out must also mean their program has been exposed? And Bama not making the playoffs means their program has been exposed. And Michigan being terrible last year must mean their program has been exposed. And on and on and on we go.

Garner can’t cruit amirite??

When will Heup do the right thing and fire RG to get a real recruiter on staff. People are asking.

Im not saying RG can’t recruit but I do think he’s getting up there in age and doesn’t recruit like he used to. Or he benefitted from “the barn” when under the table stuff was going on.

I hear more DL recruits talk about coach Chop than RG.

Does that mean I think RG should be replaced? No. But he’s not this elite recruiter. He’s old. I get it.

Yeah I was being facetious bc this is the talk every time a WR, OL, DB, or LB picks anywhere else but I think Chop pulls more weight in the recruiting of the DL than most want to admit

Yeah I’m an RG fan and never want him to retire but I also think he’s getting old, the game is changing, and not all kids respond to his style anymore.

And like I said, kids reference their relationship with Chop more than RG these days

Yall fretting over this guy and we barely recruited him. Didn’t have more than one page of comments in here. The only reason you’re upset is because AP said he thought we might actually be in the lead which showed how little he actually knows about these kids recruitment. Get over it.

There are other recruits where we haven’t come out on top when we should have. This isn’t one of them.

This is a joke right? So we get blown out by the eventual national champions and this program might be heading down? My God. So it would have been better to have went 7-5 or 8-4 and missed the playoffs then make it and lose? Some of you have some weird logic.

We are heading in the right direction under Heupel. If you can’t see that then see an optometrist ASAP.

They don't sign every recruit they want. Everyone else does but this staff can't seem to get them all.
I just don't think the board has had the depth this year so everyone is hanging on to each individual recruitment a whole lot more. Well, beside DBs lmao
