I agree, it just made me giggle everytime he said it. And since it’s clearly going to be a big thing, figured I’d give it it’s due. Plus I couldn’t sleep so I had nothing better to do.

Looking forward to see what our new HC does this next year

I'd say he should wear a big ole Power T pin on his coach's polo but it'd probably burst into flames or cause some kind of explosion or something when the two touched.

I have a feeling he's going to cringe if he watches video of himself at the press conference with the "ai'ghts".

I don't know if any of you have taken a public speaking course, but one of the things you do is give a presentation while being filmed, and then you watch yourself on video. It's painful because you see any nervous ticks or filler tendencies on full display. You don't even realize the audible filler your body produces, or what your hands/feet will do because of nerves. The teacher put my video in fast forward as the whole class laughed about the strange cyclical pattern my feet were going. I didn't even realize I was moving at all!

Coach Pruitt came across as real, and if there's 1 thing our fan base and players could use right now, it's someone in charge that they perceive to be "real". It was very refreshing after 8 seasons of robotic cliches (Butch) and bizarre intellectual dry humor (Dooley).

Maybe not, and to be clear, I wasn't saying his PC was bad or cringe-worthy. Just saying it's generally painful for anyone who isn't a professional public speaker to watch themselves do it.
