In 3 years with butch

Well, your counter is off, stallion. Three year mark doesn't come until six games from now.

At six games from now, we'll likely finish the season 9-4 or 8-5. I definitely like our chances through November, and then we'll be matched with another ~8-4 team in a bowl...and I really like our chances against any other 4-loss team out there.

So don't think 15-17, think 21-17, or 20-18 if you want to insist we'll lose a bowl game.

I wish you horrible luck in your continued efforts to suck energy out of the fan base.

21-17, that changes everything. Christ. Miami just fired their coach and he had accomplished more at this point than Butch has.

Butch is doing a fine job with the energy crisis you speak of, OU and Florida losses took all I had.

But by all means, continue to post your assumption based drivel.

Comical listening to everyone explication of how great this program is improving, some factional things regardless how you want to swing the stats, UT beat a GA team that was overrated and playing as many or more freshman then UT, never mind the fact GA lost a large part of their offense on the first play, then you have Alabama, TN played well Bama did not play well at least they looked to be tired and not sharp as they did against A&M, SO IF AND BUTS, if Bama makes just 2 of the 4 possible interceptions that was dropped, if this if that, the jest is, UT has improved but they are playing teams that are just like them, playing young guys and improving, if you look at Florida and what that coach has done in his first season as he hasn't even been there a year and you take off the Orange colored glasses and realize TN has gotten beat on plays by true freshman from Bama and Florida, I guess my point is UT has room to improve but so do the other teams they are playing.

Say what? I thought UT was the only team to play freshmen.

It's amazing how many overlook things as painstakingly simple as this.

This is just everything that's wrong with the team and fan base. We have a losing freaking record right now. In butchs third damn year. And yet you're happy? I just for the love of God don't get it. The fact that all these games are close makes me even more frustrated. A lot of coaches would be 7-0 right now. And yet yall want to give Butch a raise. Go figure...

A Lot? There is a thread on the board that addresses that Lot of Coaches. Check Availability of these so called Coaches.

Then Check your Wallet for a Hefty Donation.

OBTW, reach deep and don't forget CBJs Buyout which would be about 9 Mil.

Got 7 Mil for the new staff?

You can spread it out over some term payments and you might as well complete Dooley's buyout probably somewhere about 2-3 Mil at this point.

Next task is to hire that 7-0 coach and staff at this point of the season.

Coaching change at this point, not reasonable.

7-0 Coach at this point, not available.

Money available not happening. The donors/board that control the Athletic purse strings would probably send you and your wad of cash packing.

They would take the donation and put your name on a wall or maybe a bldg or better yet a tackling dummy

It's a fact, we have played more underclass men by far than any other team we have played. Overwhelmingly so. Pennington broke this down two weeks ago and the numbers aren't even close.

Ok first off, yes I do think lots of coaches would have a significantly better record at this point. The ok and uf games could have been won by nearly any decent college coach in America. Butch is the laughing stock of college football for the terrible decision making that allowed those teams back in it. Beyond those 2 losses who knows. Had we won those two maybe our guy would've played a much more inspired game against Ak.
Bama was a team that was totally uninspired from the grueling stretch in their schedule and was there for the taking. But Butch was just totally content going three and out and punting so long as we were tied. We saw absolutely nothing innovative. Same ole same ole. When we absolutely had to score we were able to by throwing deep crossing routs against a brand new bama secondary. We just settled for the inside run and no yardage most of the game. Had we aggressively attacked we could have built a sizable lead and ended up winning.

As far as where the buyout money would come from...who knows. That 9 million dollars contract certainly wasn't my idea. I don't know if we have the money to make a change right now. I just hope like hell he doesn't get another damn extension at this point.
All I was saying is he's not our guy. Most people agreed until we had an incredible loss to the greatest college football team in the history of the Galaxy. Now we should build a statue for Butch apparently.

I feel your pain, but you seem to think that the University should throw money at the problem.

Furthermore, it's easy to do so from the stands and when it isn't your money or even a portion of it.

Money does not buy you a seat at the Board, nor does is it accepted based on conditions of firing a coach and letting go.

Ck with the team and players, see if they are satisfied with their coaches and if they had a choice to stay the course. It's not about CBJ's third year it's the players third year and with the exception of the ones that have walked, I would venture to say that the team does not want a new coach and they support him and his staff 97%.

Never going to be 100%, Kind of like this thread, plus there is always going to be 10% that are disgruntled. I forgot most of them left. As long as the players are in with Jones and staff which it appears they are then maybe we should follow their lead.

Where should I send an Armour truck to pick up your first installment.

He may not be our (Fans) guy, but right now and for a few more years to come....He is the Guy.

Butch's biggest win, and I'll say it again, is still the recruiting trail. And I'm fine with that. The more big wins you get there early on, the more big wins that will come to you over time.
