Chris Walker. Very close if not tied Montori Hughes. We have virtually no pass rush without Walker, who the old staff called him unblockable and he put up impressive stats last year, and no a ability to stop the run without Hughes. Man I sure hope our D line stays healthy all year.

What player do you think would be devestating for us to loose?

Walk it off boys...walk it off

This is right... These are the times when you need players to be mentally tough and realize the difference between being hurt and being injured... while you hurt you can still play through it... Go Vols!

our secondary would be pretty bad without Jackson. We have no TE to speak of behind Stocker...seeing a trend here...on the bright side there are certain positions we are ok at: QB, LB, RB, WR. I think that will be what makes or breaks us on having a either a 5-7 or 7-5 season, injuries at key positions on the defensive ond offensive line.

It's hard to walk off a torn ACL, which is what ailed most of our line backers last year.

I was at the Ohio game last year and our LB core looked like a Mash unit. One was going down after the other. Their offense was tearing us up pretty bad.

I honestly think Montori Hughes is the number one player we can't afford to lose for a lenghty amount of time.

He is our number one big body inside, if he goes down it will get ugly.

Yep.

Losing Walker would suck, but between Williams, Bohannon and Smith they could at least do a half ass decent job.

There is no replacing Hughes.

We can't lose any one on defense. Whether it's the secondary or the line. We're really thin in almost every postion. If not thin, there is a large talent gap from the starters to the next in line.

Hughes... period, the end.

Unless you enjoy watching teams rush for 5ypc on us.

If anyone wants to see what us losing Montori Hughes would look like, I could link to the 2004 Auburn game in Knoxville.
