I don't know how many wins we end up with this year. Could finish 6-6 but more likey 4-8 or 5-7.

I think we will be much improved next year and make a deceit bowl game next year. We have issues at most positions this year, but the one position holding us back is the Offensive Line. They don't do anything well and it hurts our running game and the QB's have no time in the passing game. This results in us having 3rd and longs and lots of 3 and outs which in turn leads to our defense being on the field too long. They wear down in the second half.

We've played over 20 Freshmen counting redshirts with all new starters on the OL. I see our offense being much better next year with an experienced OL, Bray, Hunter, Rogers, and Neal. We have other issues on defense but they will be better when the offense can stay on the field.

What exactly is that? A bowl game where we think we've been invited, but show up only to find out the game isn't real? :)

I agree with you that the o-line has been the problem with our offense, but I'm not sure I see a lot of hope for them in the future either. Like you said, they can't do anything right, and while experience may help them to a degree, I don't see anyone on that line ever becoming an elite SEC lineman. If that were going to happen we would at least be seeing some signs of life from them, and so far we've seen nothing but them being an embarrassment on a weekly basis.

The OL will be better next year with experience and the depth coming from this years recruiting class. J. James and Stone have a chance to be really good by their Jr/Sr years. We will return 8 starters on offense and defense next year.

I don't think you will feel this way next year. The coaching staff will have had a full year with these kids that will be a huge difference.

That's really not fair.
There 's a reason why most coaches don't play freshmen in their olines.
We've asked 3 to step up and play almost the entire game week after week.
They have shown promise at times although inconsistent. That's what freshmen do.
We haven't seen enough of Schofield but James and Fulton both show promise.

The difference between a freshman body and a sophomore body with a year of D1 weight training alone will make a difference. Our line will be much improved next year, count on it.

slow your roll.....the O-line has a LOT of potential. More than any other position, they're development is dependent upon strength and conditioning. They're a bunch of 18-19 years olds and will get better with time. Furthermore, they don't have the depth upon which to rely that a lot of other teams enjoy. They will do a lot of growing up in the next year or so and I expect at least a couple of All-SEC accolades before this group is done with their collegiate careers.
