Rivals dropped out of the running for me when 247 came along and flipped a bunch of Rivals' best scouts. ESPN's team rankings are dumb because they don't include JUCOs. I honestly never pay any attention to scout so I don't know if they're good or not.

Long story short right now I'm rolling with 247 as being the most accurate.

Its the VN way. Ever which site has Tenn commits or team ranked higher then that is who they jump on board with.

ESPN recruiting analysis is done just like the rest of their 'journalism'. Very little original material while waiting for other people to crack the story for them. Then when they have a story (latest Bama/OhioSt/FSU/USC commit) they beat it to death and blow it out of proportion.

Rivals isn't what it once was. a lot of their premier scouts left for 247,they downgrade people if they don't go to one of their camps,seems like they play a lot of political BS games with their rankings,etc...

I know Rivals has their own "The Opening" but to not send an evaluator to the Opening
to look at some of the top player vs top player match ups is asinine IMO and they cant get a good feel for where he should be ranked... I know they can look at film,but you can really see how well they can be in college in these settings going up against future
All Americans...some of these kids won't make it to both the Rivals camp and The Opening... Bad move on their part IMO

I am currently liking 247 the most - Their website is definitely the best and the composite rankings are genius.

If KM gets dropped to 3rd overall, we'll have posters on here claiming they suck again.

ESPN reminds me of the recruiting rankings on EA's NCAA 2011 for X Box.

247 is the best. Rivals has fallen off but it's still alright. Scout is probably up there with rivals at this point. Rivals is bad about putting a arbitrary ranking on people when they haven't evaluated them. ESPN is laughable but to be honest they have somewhat improved.

I have a membership to Scout. I personally like them pretty well. I like their writers and really enjoy reading Randy Moore. He is a professional and entertaining writer. I have friends there who I like also, and that is probably why I stay. I think Hubbs and crew at VQ are pretty smug and some of the caustic posts from the morons that frequent there get on my damned nerves.

I hate ESPN but go look at there rankings over the last 5 years, what I do is look at all the sites and combine them together and you will get a h@ll od a lot more 4 stars.:)

Yep. Scout is getting the love only because of McKenzie. Before they made KM the #1, they totally sucked.

I don't really even like Rivals. I go strictly with 247.
