Fire and foremost, credit Jeff George for putting in the work to transform his body like this. Credit's also due to our strength and conditioning staff for helping him get there, and to our recruiting staff for identifying a prospect like George with so much untapped potential. A lot of guys like George are less heralded recruits simply because they're not finished products coming out of high school, but when you see the evidence of such tremendous growth its clear that this staff knows what they're doing.
With Malone leaving for the NFL, hopefully George can step up this fall and give us some solid production on the perimeter.

I will prob get burned for this in multiple ways but from what I've seen in practice and briefly last year, George won't come close to the impact Malone had on our offense last year. He seems heavy footed and lost at times. Like he will make the catch, then it takes him a second to realize he needs to get upfield. Jennings and Byrd will be the stars, possibly callaway, George will be a role player.
I said it would be great if George could help replace Malone's production when I mistakenly thought George was jacked. If he's still an awkward string bean I'm not so optimistic.
