Imagine this, a ex star Bama football player gets pulled over for swerving. Officer said his speech was slurred and the car smelled strong with alcohol. With all of this, somehow all of his charges were dismissed. I wonder what would have happened if he had hit and killed a innocent person...hmmmm

I think that is pretty sorry. I have such a low tolerance for people that drive under the influence. They claim they didn't meet their burden of proof, but said his speech was slurred and they detected a strong alcohol odor in the car...pathetic.

FYI, you ''wonder'' not ''wander''...actually you may do both, but you meant the first one...just thought I'd help you out!:)

Its early. I fixed it :)

If that had be you, me, or anyone else on this board we would have been taken behind the shed on AL's "good ole boy" system

This coming from fans of a team where the kicker can't stay out of the bottle.

Most UT fans feel that Colquitt should have been kicked off the team. Nobody is harder on former UT F-ups than UT fans. Nice try, though. Wasn't there some guy from Bama that's named after a sandwich shop who got busted recently pushing coke? Haven't heard too much criticism from the Bama camp over that. Seriously, who would name their kid Jimmy Johns?

You didn't bother to find out how we felt about that situation either, did you? I know almost everyone here feels the same way about Colquitt. Why don't you find out where people stand before you take off and judge them?

This is coming from a Bama fan who worships the biggest drunk of all time...Bear Bryant.

You say "drunk" like it is a bad thing. LOL
Really it is pretty bad for anyone with a DUI to get off. From what I understand Stabler refused to take the breath test which should equal automaticly taking his license for 90 days.
That man has had problems for years. Much like Pat Dye, Johnny Majors, etc...I guess they just can't accept the fact they just don't matter anymore.

What ticks me off about this whole situation is this is not his first offense. It is embarrasing and I was hoping something would come of it to make him straighten up.

Just shows if you throw enough money at a problem it will go away. I don't care who is involved I can't stand anyone drinking and driving.

Just what I was saying. That man has had problems for sometime.
Who has ever heard of a DUI case taking 3hrs to get through.

There are many Bama fans on the the Bama forum this morning, who are not happy that Kenny got off on this DUI charge. it is kinda of a known thing that Kenny likes his liquor, so many people think he was guilty as charged. DUI is a serious charge and I truely hope that he has learned his lesson. People with that kind of money can afford to hire drivers when they know they will be drinking. There is no comparison between Stabler and a college student. He has had plenty of time to learn not to drink and drive.

Agreed....the man is super old and you would think he would have settled down or learned from his ways by now.
