I wish I could be in the locker room to tell these guys how proud I am to be a fan of this team. They played their butt off today and came up short but they didn't quit. Go Vols!!!!

Yes, they left it all on the field, with a couple more breaks the game would have a different ending. I really feel that we're improving big time, even during the game.
GBO!!!

I am proud of them. I HATE losing and it always hurts to lose to Fla! We have a good group of guys that I hope will fight their butts off every week. I am proud of them and will be back next saturday!!

Couldn't agree more. That is how you play through adversity. If they can continue to do that, they will be able to pull off some OCT games, imo. Not saying it'll be any easier, but its the 1st lesson they had to learn, and they "answered the bell".

Before someone says "I'm accepting mediocrity" let it be known that I would not be this positive if guys like Gordon, Hunter, Rodgers, James and Bray were juniors and seniors. It is what it is and I expect big things in 2 or 3 years.

Me too, way to fight hard guys. We are very young and I can't ask for anymore from these guys to keep fighting. They did that today.

I am also, it almost appeared there was no talent and experience gap between UF and UT. Who would know you have a freshman blocking for a qb who playing his third big game throwing to a freshman WR. I can't wait to see what this team is capable of with some exerience and depth.

vols looked better today. FL has a lot of talent, they just haven't put it all together yet. This was a game we had a chance to win against more talent and more experience. The O-Line showed their inexperience, but its a very young group. Simms still doesn't appear to be a SEC QB, but he competed the whole game. I like the improvements I saw. They fought the entire game. Its going to be a long season, but as long as they leave it all on the field, I am behind this team. Lets up we build on this game and continue to improve.

I totally agree. . If our entire o line wasn't new, if our qb had a season under his belt, if we weren't starting freshmen at every position. Next year they better be atleast an 8 or 9 win team.

I am extremely proud of this team as well. This coaching staff is doing a fantastic job with the level of talent they have to work with.

We, as fans, are lulled into believing we can win these games against superior competition because of how hard our guys play. Losing is hard to swallow when you play back-to-back top 10 teams close in the first half.

You can blame it on depth or lack of experience but the cold-hard fact is we aren't good enough to beat top teams yet.
We will be back soon and I hope VolNationites survive until it happens.

VOL.4.LIFE. GO VOLS!!!

You guys need to smoke another. Florida is terrible, we are terrible, Simms is terrrible and this is a long next 3 years.

Moral victories!!!!!
What are they?
If you get accustomed to moral victories then you should suit up and sit on the sidelines.

Simms is terrible and so is the play calling and execution!!!

Tennessee should have acted like the Democrats and spent, spent, spent to get a coach and raised, raised, raised the ticket prices for our supportive fans.

I went, I saw and I will not be back!!!!
