I am not bowing down to anyone or kissing anyone's ass but I do want to say that I am sorry for my negavol Kiffin posts. I am just a little bitter and pissed off still about the way Fulmer was handled and all but ya know, to look on the bright side especially with his recruiting talent at USC and offensive work at USC, I say give the man a chance and he just might possibly soar and exceed expectations. I am now truly behind Kiffin 100 percent and again sorry for the bitterness, it's just that Fulmer is the only coach seriously I have ever known, it's kinda like for example what Eric Berry had said in a press conference, it's like some part of you is just being taken away, like somebody died or something, but I agree it is time to move on and see what Kiffin and his staff can do. Go Vols and sorry again fellas, time to stop being so negative and start being positive and looking forward to winning seasons. Maybe the NFL just wasn't a good fit for Kiffin, I believe he may be one of those guys where the college game is where his heart lies.

Are you bipolar?

What a travisty to ask a coach to step down when he has proven over the course of several years that he was no longer capable of getting the job done. And on top of it to make him leave with only a paultry $6mil severance. It's just so terrible.

It seems to me that the majority of the Fulmer diehards are youngsters that only remember UT football under Fulmer. Believe it or not, UT Football DID exist prior to Phil Fulmer.
Exactly...to see a bigger picture if you will by following the team since Battle ran the show you get a more HD version of perspective. CPF had some shinin times...But IMO it was time for him to be replaced for the good of Rocky Top.

Let me preface this statement by saying I'm glad we got Kiffin. People that appreciate Fulmer also realize that there has only been 1 other coach in the history of UT that has a better record than him and they named the stadium after him. So while UT football certainly did exist before and will absolutely exist after him, it didn't get much better than him while he was here.

No, this board isn't a place you can't state opinions.

You'll just get bashed for them. Thats what I really hate about this forum. You say Fulmer was a good coach, you get bashed to hell and back. You say you don't like Kiffin, you get bashed to hell and back.

If you really dont like it here, the solution is the little red "x" in the top right of your screen.

Don't worry about getting bashed. Just find a post that sucks worse than yours and start bashing away. Seriously, part of the fun is seeing how people slice and dice you and then getting in the mix and handing it back to them. Many times I've laid an egg. So, I don't worry about it, it is still fun to be on the board.

Perfectly stated . . . and if you get bashed and can't think of anything to reply with, just PM me and I'll author a response that you can cut and paste. :)

That's a little extreme isn't it?

Fulmer was a great person and a great coach but either the game passed him by or he lost his fire after all those years.Who knows but now it is time for all true Vols to unite and if Kiffin is are man back him 100% if you can't you _uck and we don't want you around.
