Pressed further with a flood of questions about Bray, Dooley became a bit animated.
"You can't be in a cast for over a month and then come out of the cast and just say, 'I'm good.' " Dooley said. "I mean, we live in La-La Land. He lives in La-La Land. I'm the only guy that has any sense of reality in this whole organization."
I posted a thread about instilling confidence recently. Dooley continues to throw the players under the bus by stating they are starting because there is no one behind them that is better. Now, it appears as though he is throwing the whole organization under the bus! If he was serious about the above comment. How can the administration expect Dooley who continues to show a negative demeanor toward his players and coaches to lead the program back to greatness?
I've seen a lot of geniuses in here spouting how their negativity is realism and how without realism there is no growth. Seems to me DD in his quote is telling all you realists that he more than anyone gets how horrible it all is at times and how much realism needs to be injected into everyone's viewpoint.
You chaps can deride his coaching and wins but he subscribes to your brand of communication and analysis. Like many of you he doesn't publicly tear himself down either he continues to believe he's the man that can see the problems no one else will.
