C'mon guys. We all said back in July that no matter who became the starting QB, we'd have to by behind him 100%. I agreed with it then, and I'm sticking by it now.

Let's do better next week, Crompton! We're counting on you!

I'll cheer for him as long as he's in, but I can't see him keeping the starting job past next week if he plays like he traditionally has.

He didn't just get tipped INTs like last week. He threw some really bad passes. A few behind the receivers, a couple into the ground, and many over the receivers. I also saw him miss WRs that were open, because he was staring down a certain guy.

I wish him my best, but I expect him to move permanently to the bench sometime between half-time of the UF game and the start of the Ohio game.

I agree. it makes no sense to bash our guys. a different guy under center is just that different! WE all saw no matter who was back there last year that much was to be desired. So lets back JC. I am gonna feel bad for the kid on Senior day if he doesnt salvage anything.

I tried supporting him, but after cleaning the vomit from my mouth after watching him come as close to giving away a game that one player can, I am done with Crapton. Imagine how much worse his mental meltdown would have been if we'd have been at the Swamp rather than Neyland. He is a mental case.

I WANT to be for Crompton. I am just tired of giving him the benefit of the doubt, showing up at the game and then seeing a quarterback that wouldn't start at a top 25 high school.

I never agreed to back this turd. Shame he couldn't be fired with Phil. All Crompturd has done is taint Kiffin. I assume you like Crompton because he helped get Fulmer fired with that S##T eating performance he had last year. I have been around a bunch of football but this guy is truely the worst I have ever seen.

He blew it tonight. He really sucked... but as long as he is the starting qb i will be behind him. i expect the rest of volnation to support him as well. He needs confidence and support. When Stephens comes in Ill support him to the fullest too. Downing crompton wont help anything after all. Our season isnt over guys. we can still salvage the rest of the season. Go Vols.

You are the only one. The day Crompton is no longer a member of the UT football team can't get here soon enough

I'll still be rooting for Crompton. Considering the team's success depends on Crompton's success, what else would I do? But I have no faith that Crompton will ever be even a serviceable QB. Tonight, I watched him make all the same mistakes he made last season. He really does not have the ability to learn from his mistakes, and he will never clear the mental hurdles that keep him from being a good QB.

I can agree with you, but as long as he is still a vol he needs the support. I agree that the day he graduates and we get a new starting qb we will be a MUCH better team, but for now UT fans gotta be positive, stand behind him, and hope to God he improves.

I guarantee crompton will get a standing ovation on senior day. Can't wait. The end of the worse qb to ever wear orange and the biggest recruiting bust ever.
