I've owned a few in the way back there past. Had a 650 BSA Lightening the year they went to the thick frame that had the oil flowing through it. Everything vibrates on those Brit bikes. Had an old Norton Commando and a Triumph Trident. I remember the wiring looked like the cord off a 1950's iron. Fabric wrapped. Oil leaks were a given as was continually tightening all the nuts each week.
