I've called Lane a snake in the grass from the beginning. Look on the bright side. There is one big clusterfrick going on at USC right now. Is it any coincidence that they bring in the guy who recruited Reggie Bush? Lane is a sacrificial lamb for USC. He's going to be used to bring in the recruits and last them through their probation before USC gives him the ax and hire a better name coach. He is USCs Ron Zook.

I am not laughing or poking fun at you guys. I hope you find a quality coach. The SEC needs a good Tennessee.

Stop trying to make us feel better. Kiffin will win championships at USC. We'll likely be sitting around trying to figure out how to get rid of a guy like Muschamp or Cutcliffe. in about 5 years.

Thanks... you rivals have the opportunity to pour salt in the wounds, but y'all are being classy for the most part. I'll remember this. But I still hate Florida. :)

I don't take anything personally. It's expected when I come to a rival board. I'm glad all other SEC fans are behind you. Kiffin pulled a dewsh move plain and simple. We are rivals, but we are also members of the best damned conference in America. Tennessee is a great job. I hope Hamilton doesn't rush through the hire and gets a really good guy. I'm shocked that Wittingham is not on the short list. IMO, it's better to get an up and comer who has experience building a program.

Hello, Vol Nation and God bless. I don't plan to bother y'all much if ever. I simply wanted to extend my respectful condolences and best wishes to your fans and Program in the wake of your coach's, um, departure. I'm the proud mama of two Marines (SEMPER FI TO ANY CORPS FAMILY!), and a dedicated Sooner fan. We've had coaching nightmares and also had blessings in the HC position, and been to the heights as well as the depths; we know pain. I just want to extend an honest and heartfelt "Bless y'all" from the Sooner Nation. May your program find the perfect coach, and may Vols Football rise and prosper.
