Im sick of Moral Loss U

I just read a thread stating "we didnt beat UGA" and gave an excuse why we should have lost the game and.it wasn't really a win. I've seen it several times after the Georgia game and its finally set me off.

After letting Oklahoma, Florida and Arkansas come back and win: "Enough with the excuses! We should have won! Just win! That's all that matters! You guys accept losing! Moral Victory U!"

Beat Georgia: "We should have lost that game!"

Its getting really hard to post on here anymore :/

I will put it simply..... I can understand the apathy but I will not change my Colors, however..... Losing Sucks!

I'm nega 4 life and I think the statement is silly.

Losing to Bama or Florida isn't the problem. It's the way Tennessee loses that should bring red flags.


Butch should be ripped to shreds for the last 2 Florida games. He butchered many things in both of those games.

Butch should be taking heat for the Oklahoma cluster eff. Too many mistakes from professional employees.

Butch should even be ripped for watching Arkansas come back from 14 down.

Those are legitimate gripes.


But to say that's no excuse for not beating someone next year is just dumb. Every school except Tennessee gets better fast, it seems, and allows young players to shine.

Butch should have the horses to beat Florida. Maybe even Bama.

But just assuming it will happen is foolish. It's how these losses occurred that have me questioning if Butch belongs, not the actual losses themselves.

3-4 to start year 3, with 4 blown 4th quarter leads

1-8 vs Bama, UGA, Florida

Several players injured in practice

...better get used to being Moral Victory U

The worst was this past loss. I think a bunch of our fan literally celebrated. Wtf?! There's a thread titled respect with something like 50 freaking like talking about how we now have the respect of bama fans. Excuse me while I throw up. We blew another game we were leading late. Bama didn't come with their a game and were there for the taking. But let's all celebrate we played the greatest team ever close. Yaaaa

Now we will win out against an awful stretch of teams and the Lyle Lovers will be claiming them to be the latest in a long string of supposed signature victories.

All that matters are wins and losses. No column for moral victories.

Makes me sick!

Where you all lose all credibility is being negative even when we win. So it is very tiring and troublesome for a Vol fan to read that a Vol fan feels this way win or lose, week after week.

And Indyvol, you should be on the Colts forum. You have bigger problems North.

This just illuminates the problem with the "never happy" crowd on here. It has to be 15-0 or "fahr the coach."

You can't demand that we win every game we play against evenly matched teams. And, before you say that Fla and Bama have long streaks against us, how many of those games have been evenly matched.

All you can ask for is a competitive team that wins its share of big games. We will never win them all. Even Saban has struggled to go undefeated at Bama.

How many undefeated seasons do we have in our entire history?

So, you're saying you prefer losing like we did before CBJ got here? ( Getting our a$$ handed to us from start to finish)?

Yeah, I miss those 52-14 thumpings we endured under previous coaches. :crazy:

It is a Catch 22, danged if we do.. danged if we don't. It is where we are, I am sick of it.... but as I said earlier, I am not changing color.
