I'm praying everyday this year. I never pray for victories or trivial things regarding the players, however; this season I am praying that no players get injured or sick. I pray they can remain safe and able to use their skills and talents to the fullest while glorifying their God. Bash if you want to, but join me if you will in committing to pray daily for protection from serious injury and sickness.

I don't pray for trivial things like victory in a sporting event. Instead I'll pray that the opponents of UT this season lose so that they can learn humility and grow spiritually. This will make them better men, fathers, and leaders in their communities.

I think Inky Johnson is a once in a generation example of courage, inspiration and humility. I am confident he'd approve Nocleats. That is high praise. In a world and country divided, it's nice to find someone who can appreciate the passion of Vol Nation and keep it in perspective. This is what can be right in Vol Nation. I appreciate the clever quips and funny remarks, but this is such a great reminder about what is important. I had the good fortune to wrestle on the team with Glen Lanham and have followed him during his coaching career, now as HC at Duke. He walks the walk, just as he did in the locker room at UT and never apologizes for his faith. A VFL who will always stick out to me who many haven't heard of, but please check out Glen and follow his example. Again, amongst all the vitriol, thanks for your post. Started my day off right!
