MSU had their chances, but the refs certainly didn't help them out. The blocking foul on Patterson was clearly a charge. Anytime a guy drops his shoulder and runs into the defender it's a charge. That IMO was a huge turning point. But at the same time MSU had some horrible looking half court sets at the end of regulation and OT.

Wait are you talking about recruits or refs right now?

Well, if you had the collective brains of a goat you could notice that I used the words "officials" and "referee's".

Because its a well known fact that our University sends out cashier checks to all the officials who made calls in our favor, in the amount of 10% of all revenue generated by national championship apparel.

This is a bonus on top of the annual golf scramble we hold for referee's where we pass out brown bags of cash on each tee-box.

You failed miserably at your attempt for humor.

I think when ky. plays at vandy the refs heads are going to explode because they are going to be so confused on who to make calls for.

and I've never blamed the refs for losses, but tonight's UK-MSU game was awfully.....suspicious, I guess might be the word, to me in a lot of respects.

It was terrible. Refs gave MSU's best player(Varnardo) two cheap fouls within 2 minutes and had him out of the game. Refs had too much influence on the outcome of this game

5 minutes, it was in the refs pre-game plan to make it happen at 2 minutes but they got an itchy whistle lip.

I believe their is favortism toward the two top teams in the conference just like in football last fall.

What is really sick is to listen to the talk out of Vanderbilt about the foul situation. They truly believe that they shoot way more FTs than their opponents at home because of their style of play. 43 FT attempts each in their last two home games is obsurd. The KY at Vandy game on Saturday should be an interesting one to watch in regards to who gets the calls.

Yeah, it was the officials who rendered State unable to throw it in the ocean from the time they went up 65-60 til the end of regulation.

You always act like you know more than everybody else. If the calls were made evenly down the stretch MSU would have had a great chance of winning. The goaltending cost MSU 2 points and a foul was committed within 2 seconds on the rebound. KU made 1 or 2 of the free throws so that was a 3-4 point swing. The Patterson block/charge was another 2 points. Those couple plays make up the 5 point difference in the game. Just saying "if they would have hit all their shots" is ridiculous especially when the teams best players are fouling out so quick.

Yeah, seems to me that vandy and uk usually get the calls, almost always when the game is close. It sucks, but what can we do? Nothing.
