I'm not even mad

In my opinion, I think apathy is beginning to creep into the fan base and become more prevalent, and I think that is understandable at this point, unfortunately.

I know this makes me a bad fan but I went into this game expecting to lose. It made it a lot easier to watch.

I lost it in the second half. Wasn't even mad anymore.....saw it coming with the end of the first half. Butch has lost me. I won't be going to any more games until he gets some decent assistants, particularly an offensive coordinator.

Do some of you not even get mad anymore? I watched this entire game with zero emotion. My wife kept asking what was wrong. I'm usually cussing and throwing the cat when we lose but tonight I just chuckled and made a big Jethro sized bowl of froot-loops. I guess I've just checked out this season.

Sadly, I've felt this way since I watched OU beat UT in OT.

For the first time, maybe ever, I didn't jump off the couch after a blocked FG. That's how you know you've lost faith..

I have no desire to go to the games or buy new gear. I bought a new shirt before the season started with the intent to get a few more as cash allowed but I wound up spending my cabbage on a new archery target. Guess you know where I'll be spending my Saturdays.

I was fine with the result again.

It's just easier to be dead about it.

Like you guys, and I said it in another thread, I too watched this game with zero emotion tonight. I just knew what was coming. What I saw tonight was a weaker, smaller and softer team than what any of us believed we would be this year. And we got steamrolled. I really don't care what happens from this point on. I'm not paid $3.5 million to care that much.

Being a Vols fan has allowed me to become one with the loserverse...in harmony with mediocrity. I'm wearing sweater vests and Velcro shoes...and loving it.

I dont know if this will make you feel better but I am not sure we blocked the FG. I think he may have just blasted it into the line.

It started for me at 17-17. The melting point had been reached and it wasn't the 4th quarter. Did they think it was going to be so easy, that they let off the gas with the early 14 point lead?

I just sat there the whole game straight faced waiting for the inevitable. I just can't figure out how we recruit such talent, and coach them in the wrong direction. Hope the fishing weather is good on Saturdays the next few months.
